Hello everyone,
My nickname is Buck and Ive been looking for a dedicated forum for the X350 and am glad I stumbled across this very informative one :D
My last car was a 2002 3.0 Sport X-Type and after 4 great years traded it in against my current X350 LWB in May.
Love the new car even though it has spent around a month having warranty work done on the A Pillar and shaking issue.Got car back yesterday and paintwork fixed (took Jag approved sub contractor 3 goes and ended up with new screen after they tried to remedy leaving old screen in and the seal warped when in the oven). The intermittent shaking is a lot better since the dealer fitted a new injector, but since the cause has been pinpointed to the regeneration of the DPF Filter which I am waiting to hear if it will be covered.
Ive noticed a few familiar names from other forums that I admin and moderate and look forward to joining in and learning from this forum.
:D

Welcome aboard Buck.

This is not the busiest forum, but it is quite specific - so we have to make allowances.

My wife bought a X Type 2.2 Diesel last year and has had no end of trouble with the DPF (which we didn't actually specify). Even though she is an 'advanced motorist', the dealer could only diagnose the unfathonable faults on her VDU as her 'driving incorrectly'. I hope your dealer has more brain cells...

Don't get me started on 'Jag Approved Bodyshops', my car (nor my wife's) will ever see that dealer again.

Your car looks a peach, by the way.
