Hi John,
I'd moved the picture on the server but not updated the post. I have now.
Mind you, that's a few years ago and things have moved on since then. Since that bike, I had a Honda ST1300 which was awful, then a GL1800 Goldwing which was great but too big to just take for a blast. Then I had a Yamaha FJR1300 which was also awful. Now I have a BMW K1200S which is quite simply the most fantastic bike I've ever owned as well as a Suzuki GSF1250 (Bandit) which is my messing around bike.
Should I take it you share this passion?

Yeh Dave,i love me bike!.I have just brought a suzuki intruder 1800 .My previous bikes include a vfr 750,blackbird and hayabusa so the intruder is a bit of a change for me,but i do love the comfort and enjoy polishing the chrome!.The intruder does attract a lot of attention where ever i go with its 240 rear tyre and bad ass looks its ashame its been too flipin cold of late to go out and enjoy it!. i spent saturday polising and waxing and went out sunday only to get it covered in road grime and salt,so it was out with the hose pipe again! i think the missus thinks i'm a bit obsessed,do you ride all year round?

Hi John,
I've seen the intruder and it's certainly a very eye catching bike. I always have to have a closer look when I walk past one lol. I ride all year round except when it's freezing. That's not because I won't ride in the cold but because we live in the middle of nowhere and the nearest gritted road is at least 5 miles away. Consequently there's a very high chance I would find some ice. The last time I rode at the moment was late December but I'm sure I'll get out at some time this weekend. My wife doesn't think I'm obsessed, she knows I am lol. Heck I even heat the garage for the bikes... don't want them getting cold lol.
Whereabouts are you in the country? I wonder if we've been to some of the same places?

Hi dave, i have been to the usuall places like matlock and buxton and a lot of meets in and around birmingham where i live.ive only had the intruder a couple of months so its only go 800 miles on it so far, looking forward to the spring so i can put some serious miles on it!.I told the wife i wasn't going to spend any money on this one but she didn't believe me ,ive already fited custom grips, pegs, mirrors and numerous chrome bits and pieces!,i think me 20" wheels will have to wait for the jag , all the best, John
