Hello all. I have a 2008 XJ8 with the premium Alpine system in it. I'm looking for iPod options outside of the ACM from Jaguar. I'm trying to find details about the Alpine unit in my car. Is it compatible with other Alpine M-Bus or IPod ready accessories?

I have the Jag unit fitted, and it isn't very good - as you already know.
I too would be interested if anyone has a 'proper' alternative.
I'm amazed that a premium brand of motor vehicle still can't produce a simple ipod connector, or even an mp3 disc player when even the cheapest of budget brands can. Embarrassing really.
