 Time to change Tyres
« Thread Started on Aug 16, 2009, 4:36am »

Hi Guys,

I have Pirelli P6000 Powergy 235/50 R18 97W's on my 2006MY 4.2 LWB XJ Sovereign, and the two on the nearside are wearing on the inner edge. So need a 4-wheel alignment too!

I am looking at replacing with a different brand, as these are not very quiet, but am totally unsure what to go for, given loads of conflicting information on various tyre reviews (ie. one review says its quiet, another says not quiet).

I am looking for low noise levels, and not out and out performance - 90% of my driving is on the motorway.

What are your experiences on 18" rims, given that many of you by now will of had numerous sets.

Thanks in advance
Mark.
